September is too short-notice for me, it's going to be a struggle enough to pay for my son's birthday in October and Christmas. Maybe next year? x

Definitely think Birmingham would be better than London, particularly for all us northerners and it's quieter - would not want to travel to London on my own! End of September is awkward as well for anyone who is at uni, as it's when we start back - perhaps towards the middle of October might be better? Sorry to be awk, I would really love to come to a meet up, those are my only two issues! I'd been coming from Liverpool, so I'd be happy to meet anyone else in the area

I think 'Britain's Ocean City' would be a good place to meet.

I've been part of another, non mh related, forum for about 6 years and have had at least one meet-up every year.
What we did there was rotate it around the country so people had a fair chance of making at least one of them.
We moved it all around from Newcastle, Edinburgh in the north, Brighton and London in the south, Birmingham, York etc. You catch my drift.
It worked really well and may be a way of approaching this. You're never obviously going to be able to please every one but it may be a decent compromise. I mean, if we were to have it in London, or mid-England all the time, it would be a hell of a journey for people like from Aberdeen, for example. So rotating it could make most sense.

I'm happy to meet wherever, I can manage Birmingham if it's easier for those who are more troubled my busy places. London's closer but I will have been paid by then so Birmingham wouldn't be too much of a problem.
