Hi all,
Just a reminder that we're going to have the Minds Like Ours Meet Up on Saturday the 26th October. Initially just the one in London but we are trying to arrange one to happen in Birmingham around the same time (hopefully the same day).
We've had a think and came up with selling tickets for a nominal amount, so that we know how many people are coming and can also put the funds towards either a venue (if there's enough of us), or towards food, drink, freebies or whatever we can!
Would everyone be okay with buying tickets? They would just be a few pounds at the most and will obviously guarantee that you're coming. We'll also try to arrange people who are local to each other to travel down together if possible, so that it's nice and easy for those who are worried about travelling.
Let us know!

Won't be able to make it down to London... But when my student loan comes through, I'd like to donate some money for those who want to go but can't afford travel if there's anyone in that position!

I'm unlikely to be able to afford it, tbh. But I'd be more than happy to buy a ticket to add to the pot, so to speak!

I will definitely be there! Have you got an idea about what the potential venue cost might be? That would give a better idea for ticket prices, but I would suggest about £5 would be reasonable?

I've no idea because I don't know how many people are coming. It's a catch 22. If there's only going to be 20 of us then we could do it somewhere free (coffee shop or something) but if there's going to be 100 of us then we'll need to hire somewhere out. AGH!

Find out how many are genuinely interested in going first... and then look and places and pricing?

Really we're looking at about £100 for 4 hours if we want to hire out a community hall or something similar.
