Hi all basically i went to see my phyciatrist today and she mentioned multipul disorders to me that she thinks i have but i cannot have a full diagnosis
bordeline personality disorder cyclomanic/cyclomatic (nit shure how to spell or say it) paranoid personality disorder dermatophagia (ocd related) anxiety manic depressive
i relly dont no how to take all this in there so mutch witch one is me how can i be put into so many catogries all at once . Every time i go she adds a new one to my list . Finding it so hard when people ask ...soo what you got .. what do i say . Esa are also bugging me for answers i am at risk of it stopping beacouse she cant give me a full/proper diagnosis , im so lost at the moment. I need something to work off to start making changes to get better even if i dont fully recover any relife would be good at the moment my head is whizzing . Im lost i rely dont no what to do sorry for the spelling and grammer/grammar (dyslexic) Xx

The best thing to do would be to ask her to put everything down in an assessment letter. That way you can have it all down on paper and read through it, making it easier to get your head round. Then, once you've read through the letter have a look online for all of the different disorders and exactly what they mean. You can add your own notes to her letter until it becomes full of information.
Getting a diagnosis is just the first step to getting better, once you understand what is happening to you it will then become a lot easier to try and deal with those challenges.

I don't know about getting diagnosed in terms of how etc. But as for your head whizzing and stuff I find it helpful if people write stuff down for me so I can take it away with me and take my time understanding or ask for help understanding. Also some "grounding" things that help you come back to reality when everythings confusing are rubbing your feet on carpet, smelling a strong smell, naming everything you can see or throwing and catching a ball. I went to see my phyciatrist again few days ago to ask her to explain to me in detail whats goi g on she said i have traits of all thoes disorders but sometimes the symptoms overlap so its hard to make a full diagnosis .. why i wasent told that in the first ill never no lol x thanks for the advice ladies x
