Hey all,
So Callum has come up with the incredible idea of a 24 hour football match and the ball is already rolling (excuse the pun). We've already had a great response from those who want to play in the match and also those who wish to volunteer with things such as food, first aid and all that other lovely stuff.
The match itself will be in Glasgow (or very nearby) and we are currently looking for a pitch that we can have very cheap, or even free. Once we have a pitch sorted we will be able to give a better idea of dates, but we're hoping it will be the March/April time next year.
We're still looking for volunteers who want to play in the match, come and support the players, help us get hold of cheap kits, market the event, fundraise, make food, first aid, referee and keep score. If you're interested then please e-mail Callum@mindslikeours.co.uk
Also, as Glasgow isn't exactly next door for most people Jake and I are thinking of hiring a mini bus to pick people up from around the country. If you're en-route from Kent to Glasgow then we can save you a space. That way we can split the cost of travel and it will be much cheaper than flying/getting a train. If you're interested in this then do let me know.
