Haha Rebecca, I love this. EEEK I don't know where to start either other than this is Christian Bale's finest moment - he played the part sooooo well. I'm going to think of something more constructive to say and then get back to you haha.

haha Christian Bale is just the MOST AWESOME actor! He looked like a living skeleton in this film! I thought the ending was amazing. You've diagnosed him yourself a million times throughout the film and it turns out to be the complete opposite of everything you're thinking. Such a poignant portrayal of how the mind deals with trauma. Struck a bit of a chord with me as I've struggled with memory loss (although not due to committing a crime I may add lol). It's fascinating what the mind can do in order to protect itself, but in a modern world it ends up doing more harm than good. And I've just realised we've had two films in a row which don't particularly portray mental health patients as violent! Yay for Hollywood!
P.S Has anyone seen Identity? I watched it with my mum at the weekend - intriguing film but my god, what an awful awful portrayal of DID!!!!!
