So, I've been referred to a dietitian after 6 years of anorexia binge purge sub type, and I have o idea what to expect. HELP! Does anyone else see a dietician? What's it like? If I can't stick to her plan will she just discharge me and it bother helping? I've always lied before and it's like I can't help it, I'm sure those of you with the same illness will understand. I'm freaking out. They can't make me gain weight because I'm not underweight, but I'm so scared.
anyone got any experience?

I'm no expert but I think that a dietitian can only be a positive thing. They're not there to make you eat loads or put on a ton of weight, they're there to ensure that what you ARE eating is providing the right nutrients for your body. Even if you didn't want to eat a lot, I'm sure they can give you great advice when it comes to things to avoid, what you should be getting more of (in terms of vitamins/nutrients) and everything else.
It's good to be healthy and look after yourself, even when a MH disorder is trying to stop you from being 100%

Thanks, I'm just scared that ill fail, if that makes sense, and that it'll just be another person involved who can put me in hospital if things get bad. Normally when things are bad I don't let anyone get involved, and knowing that they'd know if things were bad (they are bad) scares me, I guess maybe cus I just want control. :/
