My name is Imogen, but I prefer my first middle name Clarissa.
The reason for this is that people in my school keep changing my name in ways that I don't like. (e.g. Imong, which is ridiculous, but I hate it now)
After I had a panic attack at school when someone called me by my name, and I thought they were going to make fun of me, some people have started to call me Clarissa.
I have self-diagnosed depression, and symptoms of OCD and autism. I don't relate well to people my age, and people don't understand me.
I hope to find some people who understand me here.

Welcome Clarissa! When I was 6 I insisted on changing my name to Jane my middle name because everyone used to call me Hel or Hels and I hated it. I almost legally changed it but I'm glad I stuck with Helen and just glare at people who change my name now. I hope you're find some kindred spirits here. Everyone is very friendly. It's good you recognise that you may be ill. I remember being very young and just not knowing what was wrong with me. I'd heard of depression but felt like that couldn't possible be it as that seemed a very serious illness. Hopefully I'll see you around here more! And it's great to have some family connections going on here |
