I was doing my usual browse of the internet and reading up, and came across this infographic. It's a bit of a generic thing I guess It's not really something I've thought about myself before in these terms and I found it interesting, just thought I'd see if people have found/been told anything similar?

I have a book called The Food and Mood handbook which goes into detail about what food we eat has a positive effect on our mental health.
I thoroughly recommend it.

Good info there. I'm a chef and food is one of my main passions, in my opinion there is nowhere near enough emphasis placed on healthy diet in relation to managing mental health conditions. My mum spent her the majority of her career teaching nursery-age children with special needs, and she has done some really interesting work into the correlation between a poor diet and the progression, or lack thereof, of a child's educational development.

Steve that book sounds awesome! Going to try get it.
I agree there's a massive link between what you eat and how you feel. For me personally, if I eat crap, I'll feel like crap. If you eat foods that are meant to increase energy I can definitely see how this might be beneficial. :-)
