Does anyone else find that Music helps them concentrate? I find I get alot more studying done if I have music set LOUD as I tend to zone out from the real world. It's very strange. However I have succeeded in getting Chase (my son) to like Disturbed (upside to everything I suppose)

I'm the same, (kudos there for getting him into Disturbed btw!) I will generally always have music on, but then I can't concentrate properly unless its classical/metal/rock or sometimes dance/techno if there's not much vocals- so I end up listening to a lot of epic game/movie soundtracks

Omg! That is the same here! (Disturbed FTW!!) But I find, I can't concentrate more than half as much as would I would with music on, but it really does have to be a certain type of music.

(Haha, Such a huge fan. had such a fanboy moment once when David Draiman came on voice-chat and the band were all on IRC with a few of us - best thing ever!) Yeah, I have to agree, if there's no music on my mind wonders a lot more, which can get annoying at times!I used to be able to listen to a lot wider range of stuff to concentrate before, but the past couple of years, it's gotten to be a lot more specific. Was talking about this on twitter the other day, it's interesting to see other peoples' choices for music and concentrating. What's your go to album/artist? This past week I've mainly listened to a lot of DT and the Skyrim OST. xD

OMG! No fucking way that must have been like *Jizzum* moment!
Isn't it strange how our prefered music genre gets smaller the older we get lol.
My go to album of this week is Stone Sour House of gold & bones p.2 Last week was Epic Rap Battles of History (If you haven't seen them on youtube I strongly recommend them their bloody hilarious) Be interesting to see what next week brings me, if anything lol x

It was so surreal and one of the most awesome things I'll be honest the things I listen to/enjoy keep growing at the moment, just the music that helps me concentrate on things is getting smaller. Very odd, but I'm happy with it for now Hahaha, ah yeah they are awesome! Vader vs Adolf 1&2 were so good! Have they released much recently? I haven't looked at their channel in months. That's the album with Sadist and The Conflagration on right? Ah yeah, some weeks bring some weird choices here too haha.x
