OK guys, so last week's 'going viral' was a massive success. We got a huge amount of tweets, re-tweets, hits on the website etc. Obviously we want to keep that going so, this is the plan this week folks.... Contact your MPs! Simple as that. Most MPs have a weekly newspaper column and we want you to contact them and see if they will promote Minds Like Ours and mental health awareness in those columns. It's a really simple idea and it has the potential to be massively successful if we can all chip in. If only 20-30 people each contacted 5 MPs telling them about the great work that we're doing at MiLO, we can easily reach an audience of 100,000+ and who knows, if only one MP fights our corner we could begin to see some changes in the way mental health awareness is promoted right at the very top! If anyone isn't sure what to write or wants a wee hand with it, feel free to fire me a message and I'll see if I can help you out. Let's really push this this week folks. We're on a roll here so let's keep up the good work

If you manage to put together a sample letter I would be happy to look in to this but I don't feel confident enough in my writing style to write one on my own.

That's not a problem at all :-) I'll get something done in the next day or two and post it up. I'll also post up a link to a couple of websites with contact details for MPs.

This is the best website I've found for contacting your MPs. Pop your post code in and it should lead to their email address in 1 or 2 simple steps! findyourmp.parliament.uk/
