Yesterday I did a presentation about mental health at school (it was only to about five people, but it's a start) and today I built up the courage to ask two of my teachers if I could switch seats because my OCD makes me uncomfortable sitting with my back to people.

Well today marks 10 days since I last drank alcohol. Also, after over 10 hours sat in front of my laptop today, I am finally fully prepared and have everything ready for the first day of my new job tomorrow. I will be teaching cooking to kids who are prevented from attending school full-time due to behavioural or learning issues. Currently feeling a mixture of excitement and terror!

My good thing yesterday (I would have posted then but I didn't have much internet) was that I had the first meeting of my university's new Women Network committee that I got onto. It was so positive with lots of good energy and ideas! I'm so happy that I get to be a part of it.
