I resisted a situation in which I could lose my temper and make an idiot of myself. Instead I wrote a long forum post about my agoraphobia and wrote down some coping methods. I completely forgot about the situation and now I think about it I have a better perspective of it all.

Ah Beth what's your pup called?! I can't wait to get one of my own, seems like everyone I know has got a new puppy recently.

My positive of the day is that I'm off to a BBQ this eve, when ordinarily the thought alone of having to go to one would make me feel so sick I wouldn't go. I'm not sure how it'll work out, I might find it really difficult, but the fact that I'm going is a positive enough thing for me:)

I've started a geneology project....it's so much fun and really interesting but the best thing about it is I've found it very life affirming. My parents were hideous..just the worst and I legally seperated from them long ago.But it left a gap as these things do so. I began researching my history,my grandparents,great grand parents etc I needed to know where I came from (as I had noone to ask).My work paid off as I recently received my great grand parents birth certificates...I now know what they were called,where they lived and what they did for a living.It gave me such a thrill to know there is a line I can trace to,I do have family and I'm from a long line of people(so far I'm back to the 1800's)and that life goes on...no matter what, and that's made me feel good
