What? What am I going on about? Exciting numbers?
Well, here we go...
Minds Like Ours started on the 19th July with just 2 people In just THREE DAYS we have had 463 individual visits to the website, 126 e-mails and Tweets about the project, 41 members join the Facebook group, 24 members to the Google+ group, 23 subscribers to the YouTube channel (even though there's nothing there yet!), 24 forum members and 62 63 posts.
THAT is incredible. Now imagine what the next three days will hold...
Well done guys!

That's way cool. I think if everyone invited someone, with a MH problem, they know to the Facebook group then the numbers will quickly go sky high.

Seeing as the forum only opened yesterday and we have 24 members... Imagine what that could be like in a week! Especially when we get our videos up and running. Very exciting stuff indeed. Well done everybody!

Feels good to be a part of this, even if its in a more stand back and admire kind of way.

Just the fact you're posting in the forums means you're not just standing back and admiring. By posting here you're not just providing support or getting support, you're also helping to create a community. That way, when people see us on Twitter or wherever, click on the forum and check it out, they don't just go "No one posts in here, it's pointless." They'll go "Oooh I like that Weezer song that newly beardless Josh put up!"
So thank you, all of you.

WOAH! So just thought I'd check the numbers again (25 hours after posting this thread). Individual hits have gone up to 744. That's nearly double what we did in 3 days, in just 1 day.
Know why? Because I've seen you all tweeting about it! Such great news, thank you everyone. The e-mails are also still coming thick and fast. Now we just need people to become part of the forums so we can generate more vlogs, blogs and everything else.
WELL DONE EVERYONE!!! You should be super proud of everything you've achieved in just 4 days.

I think posting on here is better than Facebook as this is a personal site with no rules. I just walked out of my Doctor's surgery and noticed that there were flyers and notes everywhere to help people with all manner of problems BUT not one on MH Maybe if we all put up a note in our GP surgery that would draw more people? I think that would be a great idea as I've noticed the same thing. Mental illness just isn't made of aware of to the general public and, if someone is worried about their mental health, there isn't a lot of information on where to turn.
