There are all sorts of labels surrounding mental health, so I figured that we ought to create some more positive ones. I had an idea that everyone can get involved in, and it's pretty simple: 1. Get a sheet of sticky labels (available from WH Smith and pretty much any stationary shop). 2. Write awareness messages on the labels including the hashtag #MentalHealth. 3. Stick them in prominent places in your local area (lamp posts, parking meters, post boxes etc.) 4. Take photos of your labels and post them on Twitter, Facebook, this forum etc. Let me know what you think of the idea! ~ Beth  |

I really do love your idea as well =] I think I would be willing to do it =] prob have to make a trip to Newcastle though coz I doubt people near mine would give it a second thought.

It's always worth a try in your local area, although lots of people would probably see it in Newcastle, as I seem to remember it being a busy place! |

I live in Sunderland which Is where I doubt people would be interested but I would be willing to try I just think it will be more beneficial in Newcastle =]

I really REALLY love this idea!! I think i might make this my mission for the week and add @mindslikeours to it (so people have a look at twitter etc!)

I hate to put a spanner in the works. I used to be a Police Officer and unfortunately doing this would be an offence under criminal damage and fly posting law. It will however work if you ask local businesses (cages, churches, supermarkets, libraries, small shops and major companies) to put up posters etc in windows and on public notice boards. I don't like putting your idea down but I would hate for anyone to be in trouble with the law.

What if we all made proper labels (like the type you get on presents and such) and then took photos of them and made some kind of online collage?

An online collage picture would be a great idea. We could put it on twitter and get it retweeted by as many people as possible including by celebs. It could then also be printed and put in as many public place and businesses, with permission, as possible.
