I have attempted to start a blog...it is a really short one but I wanted to see what people think, its really probably not good but I've never done anything like it before so I hope people wont be too critical and could maybe give me some tips/advice

I think constructive criticism can be very useful and it can help people immensely with improving anything. However, negative criticism is rarely helpful so I am not surprised you were a little apprehensive about the blog entry.

Now enough of me rambling and back to your entry. I think the message you are getting across to the reader is good and I hope you feel able to write more soon.
