So, recently I've noticed I have a tendency to hoard food. I buy it, I eat a little, an it just stays there. I also take great joy in buying other people food, or giving them my food. Anyone else?!

I've heard this is really common among people with eating disorders. It's part of the obsession with food.
I didn't hoard food, because if I bought it, I'd binge it. But I do seem to enjoy making others' food or giving mine away.

I've heard this is common too. Talking and giving people food can cover up that you're not actually eating it yourself.
Same as Laura, I love making other people food! Most of the stuff I cook is pretty healthy too and I hate seeing students eating microwave meals etc so I insist on cooking for people instead.

I used to buy a load of food talking about £20 here at least, eat a bit, and then bin the rest. Fun times. But I am have come such a long way since then thankfully. So, not the same but similar I guess.
As for the cooking, if I am in the mood to cook then I love it. However, if I am not in the mood then I hate it. I still give away my food if I don't want it though pretty easily.
Subsequently you aren't alone in your behaviours Ellie.
