Okay firstly - BREATHE. Secondly - if all these people want to come to yours at such short notice, get them to muck in too, it's only fair!
Can someone else bring a dessert maybe? Get a few people to do one and there will be a good selection!
Roast chicken is perfect, beef is good too. For veggies, you could have a nut roast or veggie wellington?
Veg I personally love are roasted carrots and parsnips. Easy to do, just put a bit of oil and some sea salt, sling them in the oven for about 30 - 40 mins and her presto, yummy sweet roasted vegetables.
Roast potatoes can be a bit of a nightmare to get right so unless you're a genius with them, stick to Aunt Bessies.
You can buy pre-made batter mix for Yorkshire puddings, otherwise, Aunt Bessie's again!
Peas are nice and cheap, buy a bag of value frozen ones. We do and they taste no different.
In terms of drink, ask everyone to bring a bottle too, otherwise it's get a bit pricey.
Crackers make a laugh for a table piece, you can get a box for a quid. :-)
Hope that helps - let us know how you get on! :-) xx

Sounds like you're on the right tracks, planning is key with this i think!! I cooked a christmas dinner last night, although it was only for the two of us so I'm not comparing it in the slightest!
My biggest tip thought would be timing timing timing - I write down what time the oven needs to go on, then what time each thing needs to go in and then just work to the list. When you break it down, it really is just putting things in the oven, it's just stressful trying to get everything ready at the same time, so I find the list is a life saver!
