Hey everyone, Just looking to see if anyone has any advice on coping with panic attacks or being triggered in public. Its happened a few times at school, and because I was surrounded by so many people I didn't really know what to do. I couldn't exactly freak out or cry because I wouldn't know what to say and people wouldn't know what was going on.

Hi Ellen Not sure if this is much help, as I'm a bugger for trying to remember techniques, but a good thing to learn is to ground yourself. There are LOTS of ways you can do this, just search "grounding menthods" or something similar. Bex often mentions the S.T.O.P.P. method (but once again can't remember it!) but it's just about learning to bring yourself back down to earth and aware of your surroundings again. Let us know if you find something that works for you xx

Bex talked me through the STOPP Method and tbh, it helped me LOADS. Although everyone is different, this is incredibly effective and def worth a try.
