Hi All, So as well as having the monthly films on a mental health theme, I thought it might be a good idea to collate a list of films we want to watch just for pure happiness!! It's not going to be part of actual film club (i.e, all watching the same film and the talking about it), but I thought this thread could be somewhere where people can just post a film they've seen which has just helped them to switch off from everything. Something that makes them laugh, or is just so innocent that it perks up your outlook as it were! If we can get a list going, it can be something for people to refer to when they want something to watch that makes them zone out I'll start......... PITCH PERFECT This film made me laugh so much! Plus it has an awesome soundtrack which I listen to when I'm cleaning the house, makes bleaching the bathroom a lot of fun!!

I love the film "It's kind of a funny story". It takes place in a mental health hospital, and has a lot of depth to it, but it's a funny, feel-good heartwarming story, and a film that doesn't take itself *too* seriously, as is sometimes the case with these kinds of films Watch it!

Hmm several films make me happy lol I love films with soppy happy endings =] just a few are tangled, rise of the guardians and Juno.I have also just watched an amazing film called from up on poppy hill and I thought it was brilliant and definitely cheered me up a bit so I would advise watching it, it is a studio ghibli film you may want to look it up because some people are funny about this type of animated film but I love them =] honestly I could most likely list loads more because I often watch films when I am feeling down guess it depends what type of movies cheer other people up, the films that cheer me up are usually the ones that make me cry first lol.

How is Forrest Gump on there? That film makes me bawl like an absolute baby.
However, Rocky is a good one, just because it is so hilariously cheesy.
