I'm thinking about trying to create an app for people with OCD with advice on managing it, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about what they would like to see in it. The ideas I currently have are: - An explanation of OCD (more for the benefit of friends and relatives than sufferers themselves). - Talking about OCD (explaining to people that you have OCD, dealing with questions etc.). - Managing OCD (advice on resisting compulsions and on dealing with effects of compulsions e.g. dry skin from repeated hand washing). - Coping With Anxiety (advice on asking for help and tips for relaxation). - Explaining OCD to Children (which could go in the Talking About OCD category) - Sources of Support. I also think it would be good to include a feature where people could create a chart of their daily anxiety levels in order to get a better understanding of what kind of scenarios trigger their OCD (which they could then discuss with the people involved in their treatment). Does anyone else have any ideas? Is there something that's not on the list that should be (or something that is on the list that shouldn't be)? I'd be grateful for any feedback you may have! I'm also looking for ideas about what the app should be called. Thanks! ~ Beth
