I was just wondering if anyone else does the same thing I do, because I asked my friends about it and they basically called me an idiot. (To be fair one's autistic (nothing against her), and the other one is a brat who ignores people if things don't go her way (yes, against her))
Basically, does anyone else leave a social situation, then analyse everything you said in the coversation, and everyone else's reactions, and then assume they were annoyed by you, or angry, or thought you were too loud or spoke to long or thought you were vain or selfish or conceited, even though nothing about them suggests any of that?
This is something that I worry over a lot, and I was just wondering if anyone else does it.

I do that all the time, and I'm sure that lots of other people do as well!

Yes, I do. I also pre-empty conversations, trying to think them through in advance. It doesnt help :/ I try not to, or I try to ask a trusted friend if they understood it the same way I did. I also, related to my illness have very black and white thinking so often misunderstand what someone's said.
