I have been very stressed/anxious the past few days, but one thing that's really starting to agitate me is my racing heart! Does anyone else experience this? My OT believes I may have Generalised Anxiety Disorder, which fits to a T really, as I'm always in a constant state of anxiety. But I can't seem to slow my heart rate down... It means I'm struggling to sleep, and my hands are constantly clammy, urgh.
Any suggestions lovelies? x

Hi Kim. It does sound like a bad case of anxiety. Have you tried mindfulness techniques? I would speak to your GP and they might prescribe you with something like beta-blockers to reduce the heart rate

I agree, speak to your GP, it is probably just anxiety but I think any frequent chest pain or racing heart is worth talking to your doctor about

Yeah, that happens to me. I've just had a 24 hour ECG and am getting the results tomorrow. Speak to your GP, hopefully they can help.
