As you may know we have had some interest from a production company in filming a series about Minds Like Ours. Currently this is an idea in development and so not 100% but it's still very exciting that we were even thought of!
The production company wish to put together a 2 minute sample that they can show to the commissioning editors, to get a final decision as to whether this programme will be made. I have been asked to send over any introduction videos of those who may possibly wish to get involved or who would just like to be part of the taster. The lady I am speaking to, Avigail, is absolutely wonderful and has included this for everyone's peace of mind:
"The videos you send may be used for a taster about young people and mental health which will be shared with Channel 4’s Education commissioning team. We will not broadcast any of the footage but we may send the footage to Channel 4 and Raw personnel through a secured (password protected) video sharing site."
If you would be interested in filming a little introduction then that would be incredible! You can use the videos on our channel for inspiration but please ensure they are UNEDITED. You can use a camera, your phone or anything else that records, as long as it is your face and your words.
Once recorded you can then either send the video to myself in an e-mail (if it will fit) or sign up for a Dropbox account and add it to there, so that I can forward directly onto the production company.
Please let me know if you have any questions. The videos need to be in by Sunday so that I may send them that evening, for them to arrive first thing Monday morning.
