Hey MiLO folk! My name is Joe! I've been reading things on here for a while and finally decided to sign-up! Basically i suffer from Depression, Anxiety and "Chronic" Low Self Esteem. This basically started when i lost my Dad to Cancer when i was 17, i'm 19 now, but for the last two years i've kindq just been pressing on and ignoring it until things basically caught up with me, plus my Mum has an illness which sometimes causes her to be house bound...so yeah, thats all the kind of "meh" stuff out the way! So about me as a person! I actually really enjoy talking to new people, friendship is exciting! Haha. I'm a big wrestling fan, i play xbox, and watch Hollyoaks religiously although not sure i should be boasting about that! I also permanently crave Milkybar Buttons  I've rambled here, but yeah, thank you for having me on here and i look forward to meeting you all! |

Hey Joe, Good to see you signed up! Been reading your tweets and waiting for you to join  I hope that it's all you hoped for and more. I also have low self esteem and am waiting on the proper diagnosis for it since I finished my CBT and they dug it up, I guess it makes sense tied in with my anxiety & agoraphobia. Really sorry to hear about your Dad. I also lost my Mum when I was 17 (well, 2 weeks before my 18th) and it's always been a struggle for me, but things do get easier. You never forget that person but you do find it easier to cope. If you ever want to talk about any coping methods I learnt from that part of my life (I had PTSD then), feel free to send me a message Anyway, be good to see you around on the forums and getting involved with all our chats. Thank you for replying! i really admire all the work you folk on here do! I was at college for two years after school, coached a kids footie team too, then i finished college and the team folded, now because i just have so much time on my hands i think its caught up with me, blessing in disguise really, had i went to uni this year i'd probably not have coped with the pressure. Thank you Bex, i'm sorry to hear about your Mum, i'm sure she would be more than proud of you! As for the self-esteem, i always just thought it was me being a shy wee guy haha Thanks Keeley! And likewise! I tend to play the likes of Need for Speed, Saints Row,WWE and Fifa although the latter tends to have adverse effects on my blood pressure  how about you? I think i've pretty much summed up my whole life in two posts now, and if you picked up on my use of "wee" you will also notice that i'm Scottish! Cheers Guys! X |

Hey Joe so glad you decided to sign up in the end you can post as much as you like as little as you want everyone on here is super supportive & really friendly...a lovely bunch! I'm an ambassador for anxiety if you ever want to chat It seems like we have a few things in common already...1) mental health, woo! Haha..2) my anxiety started around age 17 when my dad was diagnosed with cancer & then recently my mum has been diagnosed with it too, oh what a beep! 3) I absolutely LOVE Hollyoaks! let's be friends? xxxx |

Ahhh I'm a COD MW3 player, Halo, N4S also, yet to play saints row, fable, etc. Fifa used to raise my blood pressure too! >.< Then I got so annoyed with it I ended up hating the game and have never bought it or played it since lol What part of Scotland are you from? My partners from there also (minus the accent  ) x |

Thanks for your response Anna! I'm sorry to hear that, hope you are coping okay! It seems like you are correct, and for sure, i could do with a hollyoaks buddy! Haha Kaylee, i liked the original black ops, but the other games i find that people take it too seriously, i guess i just lack that killer instinct  Saints Row is good, its pretty much all lighthearted and just for the sheer fun factor, defoz recommend! I'm from East Renfrewshire, just outside Glasgow x |

Hey Joel, thanks for the reply! Awk we all have these skeletons in the closet, and besides, when i press the tv guide it says "Teen Soap", I'm 19, it still counts! Haha everyone on here seems really nice so i'm sure you are no exception |
